BluPeak Credit Union Announces 2020 Dream Scholarship Award Winners

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (July 8, 2020) – BluPeak Credit Union (BluPeak Credit Union) is proud to announce the five recipients of the BluPeak Credit Union Dream Scholarship program for the 2020-21 school year. The first place finalist will receive $2,500 and the four remaining finalists will receive $1,000 each.

“We’re so proud of the hard work that our student members have achieved, and are so excited to see the impact they will have on the world,” said Paris Chevalier, SVP and Chief Experience Officer at BluPeak Credit Union. “These students have had to overcome so many obstacles this year and we hope our scholarship helps them as they move on to their next chapter in life.”

The BluPeak Credit Union Dream Scholarship program recognizes qualifying members who are college students and high school graduates seeking higher education. The comprehensive scholarship application process involves letters of recommendation and a short essay about the dreams they hope to achieve following their college degree.

Each of the winners discussed in their essays how they would apply their scholarship towards furthering their academic pursuits across computer science, education, engineering and biomedical research.
